Trinity Outreach Programs are the visible expression of Trinity Presbyterian Church’s commitment to the Bryant Neighborhood. Trinity serves the Hilltop community by providing several outreach ministries for our neighbors who live here. Not only do we provide ministries for youth, but also for families as well as the homeless. Learn more about our programs by reading below:

The Trinity Learning Center
Monday - Friday, 2:30 – 5:30 – The Trinity Learning Center exists to assist middle school students each day with homework help, study skills, teacher advocacy, and adult mentoring. In 2011-2012 the Learning Center served over 175 students with around 30 attending on a weekly basis. Additionally, our staff gave over 1,500 combined volunteer hours at Bryant and Jason Lee during the school day.

TAP (Trinity Afterschool Program)
Monday - Friday, 3:30-4:30 – TAP facilitates one-on-one literacy assistance with first and second graders from Bryant Elementary. Students commit to this year-long program at the invitation of Bryant's teachers and our TAP staff. We served 13 students throughout the entire 2011-2012 school year at TAP.

Tony's Kitchen
Fridays, 1:00-2:00 - Tony's Kitchen provides "Soup and Conversation" for those who come through, in the form of freshly made soup, bread, and an assortment of drinks and desserts that our staff provide on a weekly basis. We are currently welcoming an average of 40 people per week to Tony’s Kitchen.

Pat's Closet
Thursdays, 5:30 –7:30 & Fridays, 1:00–3:00 - Pat’s Closet is located in Trinity’s basement, and provides neighborhood residents with new and used clothing and household items that are donated each week from individuals all over Tacoma. We served over 1,500 children and 2,000 adults in 2011.

The Trinity Neighborhood Clinic
Tuesdays, 5:00-7:00 – The Medical Clinic is open to anyone without medical insurance. Volunteer doctors and nurses are available weekly to assist patients with a variety of medical concerns ranging from flu shots and sports physicals to diabetes help and prescription refills.

Trinity Front Door Ministry
Open During Trinity Office Hours - The Front Door Ministry assists our neighbors in the 98405 zip code with basic needs like bus fare, rent or utility assistance, and resource sharing.

Annual Trinity Outreach Programs & Partnerships
The following programs have become an integral component of the life of our community as we continue to build relationships with families while addressing collective needs. Camp Trinity, Christmas House, Back To School Night, Thanksgiving Baskets, Bryant Block Party, Phoenix Housing Network, Dental Van, & Safe Families.
